Philadelphia Zoo Tickets

The Philadelphia Zoo offers many fun, educational programs. While most of the Philadelphia Zoo is yours to explore for the price of your admission ticket, some of the activities require extra tickets or fees.

Peak season

The Philadelphia Zoo charges slightly higher fees for tickets for admission from spring through the first part of autumn. Adult tickets cost $18 apiece, and tickets for children ages two to 11 cost $15. Children under the age of two years old can go to the Zoo for free.

Off-season

During the late autumn and winter, tickets for the Zoo do not cost as much, but the zoo closes an hour earlier. Tickets for adults and children (ages two to 11) are $14 apiece, and children under the age of two are free.

Extra fees for additional attractions

Several of the other attractions at the zoo cost extra, or require an extra ticket. The Channel 6 Zooballoon costs $15 per person, or you can purchase a family four-pack of tickets for $50. The Amazon Rainforest Carousel costs three dollars per person, as does the PZ Express Train. During the in-season, you can also enjoy the swan boats, pony rides, draft horse rides or camel rides; all of these cost $6 per person. Parking at the zoo costs $12 per vehicle.

Membership

If you become a member of the Philadelphia Zoo, you can enjoy free admission to the Zoo year round, as well as free parking for your vehicle at each visit. You can also go to the Treehouse and Lorikeet Encounter for free. As an added bonus, members of the Philadelphia Zoo can also get discounts for tickets to over 100 zoos all over the United States.

The Philadelphia Zoo is an affordable outing for families who want to enjoy the animals and attractions any time of the year. Get your tickets and come to the Zoo for a visit soon!
